Welcome to Big Green Box Moving. By booking a move, using our services, or interacting with our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights, responsibilities, and what you can expect from us.

Definitions

  1. “Company,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Big Green Box Moving.

  2. “Customer,” “you,” and “your” refer to the individual or business booking or receiving services.

  3. “Services” refer to all moving, packing, unpacking, transportation, and related assistance provided by the Company.

Scheduling & Arrival Window

  1. All moves are scheduled within a designated arrival window. While we strive for punctuality, unforeseen circumstances (traffic, weather, prior jobs) may cause delays. We will communicate updates promptly.

Estimates & Pricing

  1. Estimates are based on the information provided at the time of booking.

  2. Actual charges may vary depending on labor time, item volume, accessibility, distance, special handling, or additional services requested on-site.

  3. Local moves are typically billed hourly; long-distance moves receive a written or on-site estimate.

Payment Terms

  1. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed.

  2. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, check, or approved digital payment.

  3. A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. Deposits are applied toward the final balance.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  1. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your move may incur a cancellation fee.

  2. Rescheduling is subject to availability but will be accommodated whenever possible.

 

Customer Responsibilities

  1. You are responsible for:

    1. Providing accurate information regarding inventory, access, and special handling needs.

    2. Being present or having an authorized representative on-site during the move.

    3. Securing valuables, including jewelry, cash, firearms, personal documents, and irreplaceable items (these should be transported by you).

    4. Ensuring driveways, walkways, and entrances are safe and accessible for our crew.

 

Packing & Box Policy

  1. Boxes packed by the customer (“PBO”) are moved as-is, and we are not liable for damage resulting from improper packing.

  2. Big Green Box Moving is not responsible for damage to items inside containers we did not pack.

  3. We reserve the right to refuse transport of hazardous, illegal, or unsafe items.

 

Furniture & Item Condition

  1. Our team handles all items with care. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage will be noted when possible.

 

Liability & Claims

  1. Big Green Box Moving provides basic valuation coverage as required by state and federal regulations.

  2. Additional coverage may be available upon request; customers are encouraged to discuss insurance needs prior to moving day.

  3. Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the move.

  4. Our liability is limited to the assessed value at the Company’s discretion.

 

Items We Cannot Move

  1. For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:

    1. Hazardous materials (fuel, aerosols, chemicals, propane, fireworks)

    2. Live plants or pets

    3. Perishable or refrigerated items

    4. Firearms or ammunition

    5. High-value items without prior disclosure

    6. Please ask if unsure.

 

Website Use & Content

  1. All content on our website, including text, images, graphics, and branding, belongs to Big Green Box Moving and may not be used without permission.

 

Right to Refuse Service

  1. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, or violate Company policy.
